Shows a 5- 10 minute Walking Zone around our School.

The idea is to help keep traffic off the roads near school and help keep our children, parents and staff  as well as members of the public safe.

If you do need to drive to school we ask that you park outside the walking zone and encourage your children to walk for 5 minutes to school.

We remind all parents and carers regularly through newsletters and correspondence that Blythe Close is a Residence Only  road. Our residence are very understanding about the children being dropped off and collected by foot through the playground gates. But cars should not be using the close for parking or turning as it endangers our children, parents, staff and members of the public.

The Church of The Good Shepherd - has kindly allowed us to use their car park if required at drop off and collection times only. They have asked us to remind parents this is not a public car park and should ony be used for very short periods of time. Please be respectful and mindful of other events the Church may be holding such as Weddings, Funerals, Christenings and community groups.

Under no circumstances should parents be parking, stopping or dropping off on the Yellow Zig Zag lines.

If you are running late at collection time please telephone the school in good time, your child's class teacher may be able to send your child to the school office/ reception. Please find somewhere safe to park.
