Semi-Final

 

Ashmead 0 - 1 Weston Turville

 

A spirited Ashmead side exited the cup in the semi-final after a 1-0 defeat to an excellent Weston Turville team. Charlie Woodfall was awarded 'man of the match' for some superb saves in the second half. The boys were very proud to reach the last four of 31 teams and look forward to finishing of the season off in style!

 

Quarter Final - Friday 23rd February

 

Ashmead 7 - 0 Grendon Underwood

 

Ashmead are into the last four of the cup after a comfortable win over Grendon Underwood. On a cold winter's afternoon, the boys started strongly as Jaden - our leading scorer - gave Ashmead an early lead. The goals kept on coming and Tommy (who was awarded the 'man of the match' award) led by example in midfield, providing a number of brilliant assists to Jaden (2), Kyle (3) and Kenzo (1). 

 

The boys will play Weston Turville in the semi-final.

Round 2 - Thursday 9th November

 

Ashmead 3 - 3 Turnfurlong (Ashmead win 2-1 on penalties)

 

Ashmead have reached the quarter finals of the cup after a thrilling second round tie against Turnfurlong. After an action-packed game, the match went to extra time and penalties. Charlie produced some excellent saves in the shoot-out as Tommy and Kyle secured the win. Ethan, however, was awarded 'man of the match' for a solid captain's display in defence.

 

The boys can't wait to hear the draw for the next round!

Round 1 - Thursday 5th October

 

Ashmead 4 - 2 Bedgrove

 

Ashmead are into the second round of the cup after a 4-2 win over Bedgrove. Kenzo was awarded 'man of the match' for a dominant display as our striker and for being a constant goal-threat throughout. The boys will face Turnfurlong (away) in Round 2.
