Monday 5th March 2018

Ashmead 3 - 1 St. Edwards

The boys won their third league game of the season on a wet Monday afternoon after a hard-fought win against St. Edwards. After Ashmead missed a string of chances, Kenzo opened the scoring with a powerful header; he then added a second before Jaden powered home a third. Ethan was awarded 'man of the match' for a composed, calm display in defence alongside Ryan.

The boys play St Mary's in their next game on Friday.

Wednesday 21st February 2018

Oak Green 2 - 2 Ashmead

Ashmead returned to league action with a hard-fought draw against an impressive Oak Green side. After a close first half (which ended 0-0) the boys found themselves 2-0 down with only 3 minutes of the game remaining. Kenzo lead an incredibly spirited comeback with a determined, dominant display in attack and capped off his performance with two goals in the final few minutes to secure the draw. This was certainly worthy of the 'man of the match' award.

The boys are back in action again on Friday against Grendon Underwood in the Cup quarter final.

Friday 17th November

Ashmead 8 - 3 Haddenham

Ashmead continued their winning start to the season in the league with an impressive attacking display and victory against Haddenham. A hat-trick from both Kyle and leading goalscorer Jaden ensured the boys sealed the three points. Tommy, however, was awarded 'man of the match' for a dominant display in central midfield and for capping off his super performance with two excellent goals.

The boys will now enjoy their winter break and look forward to the fixtures after Christmas.

Friday 3rd November

Ashmead 5 - 0 Bearbook

A fantastic team display secured a comfortable win and Ashmead's first league victory of the season. Jaden was awarded 'man of the match' for his brilliant first-half hat-trick, however special recognition must also go to Charlie for two stunning 'David De Gea-esque' saves to ensure the boys kept a clean sheet. Ashmead will face Haddenham (away) in their next league fixture.
