Falcon House Autumn Term Reward

Thursday 1st February

Just a reminder that to celebrate them winning the House Point Trophy last term, year 4 and 5 children (in the Falcon House) will be able to come in RED CLOTHES on Thursday, as well as having an extra break!

We would encourage children to wear as much red as they can to show their team spirit! They should try and wear at least one item of red clothing if possible (hat, scarf, ribbon, socks, shoes etc).

Raiders of the Lost Empire

Welcome back!

We are pleased to share with you some pictures from our first few days back at school! As part of our new topic, we had a visit from an archaeologist called Elizabeth. She came into school to share with us some Roman artefacts and to tell us a bit about what life was like in Roman times. We had a fantastic time investigating all the bits and pieces!

We are also pleased to announce that our production this year will be based on the adventures of Indiana Jones! Which we are really excited about!

We hope you enjoy looking at our photos!

Toilet Twinning

Today, we raised money so that children in other schools around the world can have flushing toilets and running tap water. We all dressed in blue and this afternoon, years 4 and 5 ran around the field 9 times (or more in some cases!) to get an idea of how far it is for children to gather water. We had a great day raising awareness for this great cause.

We had a visit from Buckinghamshire Fire and Rescue! The firemen came into school on Tuesday 10th October and spent some time with each class in years 4 and 5, telling them all about how they prepare for, and deal with, floods. The children learnt lots and the firemen were very good at answering all our questions and explaining how their job works. Here are a few photos from the visit!
