For all latest news and pictures check the 'This Week in Reception' icon above.

Welcome back!

Rockets, spaceships, aliens, what new adventures will go on this term?

Zoom around the galaxy, land on planets, write to astronauts, even aliens?

The children have loved exploring the new environment, we are looking forward to seeing what we can learn about space over this term.

Easter Bonnet Day

We'd like to thank all parents and carers who helped the children make their Easter Bonnets, they were all fantastic and looked amazing. The children enjoyed walking around the school on their parade, making lots of jingling and rattling whilst waving and wishing the other year groups a 'Happy Easter Holiday'.

We hope you enjoy the two weeks off and get some time to relax together with your little ones.

Thanks for your help and support this term. We will see you on Monday 16th April to begin our new topic!

World Book Day

We have loved dressing up and reading our favourite stories today.

Our Reception Winners were Molly, Isla and Izzy.

The Year 6 Head Boy and Girl chose Molly as the Reception Year Group Winner!

So much snow!

Snow all about!

Wendover Woods.

We all had an amazing time out on our trip to Wendover Woods. We looked at fir trees, holly bushes and mossy trees. We walked and we walked and we walked, we walked down slopes and then all the way back up slopes until we found.... The Gruffalo!

The Gruffalo had written us a letter to say he's sadly lost his little brother! He said he was sorry for the mess he'd made when he had been to our school to look for him!

We hope we find him soon and then we can write to the Gruffalo in the Woods and tell him we have found his little brother.

What a mess! Who's are these footprints? They have turned out toes!

Hello Elf! Welcome to Reception!

The children have been thinking of a name for our elf who is visiting us during the build up to the Christmas Holiday.

What will the Elf get up to? Where will he hide?

We have been learning about asking questions this week, what question could you ask the Elf?
