Ashmead School

Ashmead provides its children with two everlasting things, one is roots, the other wings.

Summer Term Home Learning

Hello everyone!

We hope that you are keeping well and have been able to keep busy, whether you've been doing some of the activities we have provided on here, or whether you've been learning new skills at home. Most of all, we hope that you have been able to enjoy the sunshine and being with your family! We are missing you!

On this page, you'll find a Topic grid with new ideas for activities for the next couple of weeks. Please click on your Maths or English teacher to find Writing, Reading and Maths activities. You'll also find the picture ideas and planning sheet for the Writing activities and keyword spellings for your class.

Remember to try to do at least a couple of activities in total each day. If it's too tricky, see if someone in your family can help, or try to think about what we would do in school - or choose a different activity instead. Little and often is best! If you have a great idea for something else that you want to investigate and write about, that's okay if you check with your grown up first. You can still use some of the links we've been posting to different websites and other ideas if you haven't done them yet. You can still access TT Rock Stars and Bug Club too.

If you haven't already done so, log your activity with Get Set Tokyo challenge - go back to our Class page for more information.

We'd love to see what you have been doing - any pictures you send in will be shared on 'Our Learning at home' - have a look on there to see what other children have been up to!
