18th May 2020 Update
We hope that you and your families are all safe and well and have been keeping busy at home, whether that's doing the activities we have set you online or on here or learning new skills with your family. Thank you for sending in photos, letters, stories, reports and all the other amazing work that you have been doing at home. We have loved seeing them all! Most importantly, we hope that you are making the most of the sunshine and being with your family. We are missing you all greatly!
Welcome to our new page for Summer Term learning! On this page you will find a Topic Grid with new activities for you to try at home. There are art, DT, science, topic, PSHE, computing, mindfulness and many more activities for you to have a go at. You will also see a new Reading, Writing and Maths grid which has some different types of tasks to help you apply what we have been learning in school this year. There are model texts to help you with your writing in the Writing folder.
You will also see some more Spelling & Grammar, Reading and Maths sections. In here, you will find key spelling words, worksheets and challenges that you might choose to have a go at. Remember to check with an adult before printing anything though!
Remember to try to do at least a couple of activities in total each day. If an activity is too difficult, see if someone in your family can help, or try to think about what we would do in school - or choose a different activity instead. Little and often is best! If you have a great idea for something else that you want to investigate and write about, that's okay too!
You can also still use some of the links we've been posting to different websites and other ideas if you haven't done them yet. You can still access TT Rock Stars, My Maths, Purple Mash and Bug Club too. We have loved replying to your work on My Maths and Purple Mash - thank you to everyone who has had a go at these!
If you haven't already done so, log your activity with Get Set Tokyo challenge - go back to our Class page for more information.
We are very proud of everything that you have been doing and love to see what you have been up to! You can send any pictures to firstname.lastname@example.org and these will be shared on 'Our Learning at home' - have a look on there to see what other children have been up to!
Stay safe and well and look after one another!
