In Science this half term we are learning all about plants. We have particularly enjoyed this and have been really excited for Science lessons in the afternoons.
We have learnt about deciduous and evergreen trees and have learnt some facts about pine trees and oak trees. We decided that there are lots of deciduous trees around school as we can see that a lot of the leaves have fallen off the trees outside our classroom.
We also learnt about what the different part of a flower are called and why they are important. We were really excited about this lesson as we had to put the pieces of a muddled up flower back together in our books like a jigsaw puzzle!
