Coronation Day!
We couldn't wait to have a day full of activities on Friday!
We learned a little bit about why Prince Charles was to become King Charles III, using lots of our knowledge from the Autumn term when we learned about the Queen. We made crowns fit for the King, decorated our classrooms with Union Jack flags, bunting, drawings of the royal family but best of all, we had a giant picnic all together! We loved our packed lunch picnic as one big KS1 team. The party didn't stop there! We took the booming speakers outside and we had a mega dance party! Lots of dancing from the teachers and children using dances learned from Go Noodle! and many other classics...we even managed to join up with the Year 5/6 team and got the whole playground moving!
We hope that the children really enjoyed the day - a historic day that they will remember forever.
