In Week 7 we enjoyed sharing the story of Pumpkin Soup, we found out about bagpipes, played by the cat and we discussed which jobs we help with at home and at school. We passed a pumpkin around the circle and scooped out the middle, showing the contrast in texture and smell.
After a well earned rest, we returned to the sound of fireworks. We spent time refreshing our phonics with fun grapheme ball games outdoors and Bonfire grapheme bingo indoors. We made sparklers in the studio and took our first trip down to the Ashmead woods as well.
