We became authors!
Over the past two weeks, we have been looking at the very familiar story of Paddington.
Miss Venn used the story to create a text map so that it was easier for us to learn.
Can you recognise any of the words from the story using the text map?
We decided that although we like this story, it would be more fun to alter it and include ourselves in it!
We changed:

The food place problem
The place Paddington is invited to
The second problem
This took us some time to really think about the story and what could go wrong!
We enjoyed making the problems sound really terrible. Some of us chose to go to McDonalds, some to Costa and some to Dominoes pizza!
Would you believe that Paddington went to McDonalds, slipped on a chocolate milkshake and fell backwards into an Oreo McFlurry? What a mess!
When we were happy with our changes, we wrote our story out like proper authors.
