In Week 3 we followed the classic story of Whatever Next by Jill Murphy. Our role play took off with exciting rocket journeys. We used our phonics to write lists about what we would take to the moon with us. We also enjoyed using textures to make moon pictures and we read non-fiction books about the moon and discovered more about the moon by researching online. We learnt new vocabulary such as 'crater'.
In Week 4 we found out about shimmering stars and we used different tools to 'catch a star' in the woodland area and in literacy we talked about how we would use a star.
