Ashmead School

Ashmead provides its children with two everlasting things, one is roots, the other wings.

World Thinking Day

On February 22nd, Guides, Scouts, Cubs, Beavers, Brownies and Rainbows, both young and old, celebrated World Thinking Day. Chosen because it is the birthday of the founder Robert Baden-Powell and his wife Olave, World Thinking Day is a day of international friendship, speaking out on issues that affect young people today and fundraising to support the millions of members around the world. In line with Guiding tradition, and in recognition of this special day, many of our children and staff who are involved in these organisations, proudly wore their uniforms to school for the day.
