This week we have really enjoyed being back at school and exploring our new learning environments. We are very excited about our new topic for the term 'From Field to Fork'!
In our first Literacy lesson back we got a very strange letter from someone called 'Farmer Duck' who needed our help. He was very upset that everyone thought he was the messy farmer even though it wasn't true. He gave us his story to read and asked us to retell it for him. This week we have practiced learning his story really well and next week we are going to retell it in our Literacy books so that everyone can hear about all the jobs Farmer Duck does around the farm. We made a text map together to help us remember the story. How many actions can you remember?
