What a great day!
We all really enjoyed the Science day this week. We were lucky to have 2 workshops all about materials and animals and their habitats. We used all of our learning from the topics to answer questions and really impress the Science visitors from 'Science Oxford'.
We loved watching the scientist test different materials for an umbrella, especially when we got to spray water on his toilet roll umbrella! We had to test different materials to see which were waterproof and most suitable for an umbrella.
Next we listened and learned about adaptations of animals in a variety of habitats. Then we got to make our own creature from natural materials as well as plastercine, googly eyes, pipe cleaners and many more things!
