Over the last 2 weeks, we have been reading and describing the key characters from the story, Farmer Duck

Then, we focused our learning on the character of the farmer. We used noun phrases, prepositions and verbs to describe his appearance.
After, we moved on to describing the duck. We decided that he was a hard working, resilient duck who always did as he was told. We used our knowledge of expanded noun phrases and prepositions to describe what he looks like. Then we learned lots of new vocabulary to describe his personality.
